Bantwal: Youth loses life after getting crushed by tractor

Bantwal, Oct 16: A teenager identified as Mukut Tirki (16) of Odisha origin died after falling down from a moving tractor and then getting crushed under the wheel of the tractor.

The tractor in question was being driven by its driver, Raghu. When the tractor was moving on Ajjjinadka - Chandalike road at Paisari in Vitlamudnoor village, Mukut, who was seated on the tool box of the tractor, lost his balance and fell down. As he came under the rear wheel of the tractor, he suffered serious injuries. He was admitted into K S Hegde Hospital at Deralakatte but his life could not be saved.

A case about this accident was registered in Vittal police station.
