Mumbai, Oct 11: The Andheri east branch of Bharath Co-operative Bank, here celebrated its silver jubilee on Wednesday morning, October 9 at Town center branch, Marol. The bank’s directors, L V Ameen and M N Karkera lit the traditional lamp.
A free eye test camp was held as part of the programme. Billavara Association Mumbai vice-president, Harish G Ameen, social workers, Ramesh Kotian, Sathish Shetty, Narayan Suvarna, advocate D K Shetty and the bank’s assigned managing director and CEO Vidyananda S Karkera were present.
L V Ameen said that the satisfaction of the customers should be the main intention of the bank. M N Karkera said that the bank’s staff provide excellent service which is a positive factor for the bank. Harish Ameen said that the branch has earned goodwill of its customers by their service and is one of the few bank’s branches which has maintained the tradition of the branches.
Joint managing director, Dinesh B Salian said that customers are the asset of the bank. “The staff should work harder to provide better service and strengthen the relationship.”
General managers, Jagadish Ameen, Vasudev M Salian, Mahesh Kotian, deputy general managers Prabhaker G Poojary, Janardhan M Poojary, Sathish M Bangera, retired DGM Mohandas Hejmady, retired senior officials Suresh S Salian, Shobha Dayanand, Diwaker Suvarna and others were present.
Eye specialist Dr Deepak Vaidya and team conducted an eye testing camp. Branch senior manager, Navin Karkera welcomed the gathering. Assistant manager, Prabhavati Karkera introduced the guests. Assistant manager, Mahesh Kurian rendered the vote of thanks.
