Mangaluru: Sahyadri signs MoU with AIESEC India for international internships

Mangaluru, Oct 9: With the prime objective of encouraging International Internships for students, Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management (SCEM), Mangaluru has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with AIESEC INDIA providing a global platform for young people to explore and develop leadership potential. The agreement, in the form of MoU, formalizes the mutual interaction and strengthens the relationship between SCEM and AIESEC by providing students with the opportunity to live a shared responsibility for the world and equip them with the tools to shape it for a better future. It shall also, focus on creating a youth movement to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals by the year 2030.

This MoU was signed by Dr Srinivasa Rao Kunte, principal, and Dr Anush Bekal, in-charge industry connect of SCEM with Dhruvraaj Singh Rajvee, business expansions head and Manan Shah, entrepreneurship exchanges in-charge of AIESEC (C/o Manipal Academy of Higher Education, MIT campus, Manipal).

AIESEC is a non-governmental not-for-profit organization in consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), affiliated with the UN DPI, a member of ICMYO, and is recognized by UNESCO. AIESEC International Inc. is registered as a Not-for-profit Organization under the Canadian Not-for-profit Corporations Act - 2018-02-08, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
