Mangaluru, Sep 26: On the occasion of the golden jubilee of National Service Scheme, NSS unit of Padua College of Commerce and Management celebrated the jubillee by holding various competitions and a talk on 'healthy youth for healthy competition'.

The guest of honour for the golden jubilee valedictory programme Prof Ignatius Neville Noronha, Yathiraj, NSS programme officer of Padua PU College. Fr Alwin Serrao, principal of Padua College of Commerce and Management, Roshan Santhumayor, NSS programmr officer, vice–principal of Padua College of Commerce and Management, Mitchell and Rahul, asst NSS programme officers were present on the dias.

Prof Ignatius Neville Noronha spoke on the importance of social service in society and congratulated all the volunteers for their work.

Clean and green India competition was organized on the occasion.

A talk was held for the students on 'healthy youth for healthy competition' by Prof Narendra Nayak.

Roshan Santhumayor, NSS programme officer welcomed the gathering and organized the event.
