Mangaluru: MLA Dr Bharath Shetty gives first aid to lady who fell from bike

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Sep 23: A lady, who was riding pillion with her husband, fell from the two-wheeler and lost her consciousness. MLA Dr Bharath Shetty, who was traveling on the same way, gave her first aid on the spot and got her admitted to the hospital.

A couple was moving on their bike on the Suratkal-Kana-Bala road on Sunday afternoon. The lady suddenly fell from the bike and lost her consciousness. Her husband, the rider of the bike, was trying to lift her up. MLA Dr Bharath Shetty, who was passing by the same spot in his car, saw this and immediately stopped his car. He sprinkled water on the face of the lady and also gave her first aid and helped her to get admitted to a hospital.

The people-friendly act of the MLA has been lauded by the locals.

A very good humanitarian deed. Good deeds must be brought to light to become good examples to others.

    Whatz so great in it.
Being a doctor, it's his duty to give first aid.
    Y so much publicity.
If non MLA would hv given first aid, it wouldn't hv lot such public attention .

Really a great humane gesture. But, none of the elected leaders have gone to the rescue of our brethren who are struggling for day to day life even now.

Was it done just for publicity or done on humanitarian basis?
It is anybody’s duty under such circumstances and more so being a doctor.
Why look for cheap publicity by doing something very natural and necessary?

When your U T Khader does so, you hail him for 13 days and make him a messiah
OK you praise him, we have no problem, Khader is indeed a good person
But your criterion changes for Dr. Bharat Shetty.

agree, but you people wrote like anything when khader was helped a person who met an accident. first try to behave like a human being. now a days during accident it is very rare to people come forward to help them, they are only interested in taking video.

Did Dr Bharath approach Daijiworld and requested them to print this news?
If yes, probably your comments justify a bit. If not, there is something wrong with the way you analyze an issue and comment on it. In this case, your comment is negative on a positive action taken by the doctor. It says a lot about you and your mentality. I wish you try to change yourself rather than criticize others without knowing the background. All comments should be unbiased without any prejudice.

Great humanitarian act which reminds us of Minister UT Khader who in the past many helped many accident victims on humanitarian ground.
It is not necessarily be the people around have to be professional specialized to help the victims but it is the quality of a person who rushes to help the needy.

I must congratulate Dr. Bharath for his timely first aid.He stopped his car, gave water and helped the patient for hospitalization.
I never forgotten the incident , a bullet fire MP was a Breaking news ....Hit & Run by central minister...!
Now a days people forget what ever the code of conduct....ethics because of several reasons. But here this Dr. Bharath never forgot his professional ethics and shown his concern . Please don't mix party openion with subjective/individual one.

why so much hype when a gulam does good work (rarely) and why so much fractuation when a bhakth does good job????

It is not necessary for every doctor to treat people injured on the road, you need to have a good heart to help people, do not be biased for him being a BJP MLA, support any good work and remove the spectacle of prejudice ....
