Dubai, Sep 22: Souhardha Lahari-Music for harmony is a musical enthusiast group which has no barrier of religion or language. The group successfully held singing competition for kids from age groups 5 to 16 in 3 different categories on September 20.
More than 35 talented kids from all around UAE in sub-junior, junior and senior category gave confident and mesmerizing performances in more than 4 languages. Selected top 5 in each category will have final round faceoff on September 27 at habitat school auditorium, behind Ajman City Center, Ajman, on the eve of 3rd annual day celebration of ‘Souhardha Lahari”.
The programme started with the tradition of lighting the lamp by the honorable guests of the occasion Dinesh Devadiga, Dinesh Chandra Shekar of Elegant Group of Industries, Shekar Shetty of Saiba Catering and judges of the event Soorya Keshava, Kiran Kumar and Shivaprasad along with president Ashok Anchan, vice president Ashok Bailoor and members Haneef Perlia, Mahesh Attavar, Richard, Suresh Shetty, Karunakar Adyar and Yashwanth .
The competition began with the devotional prayer by Ramachandra Bedrakda, a well-known singer in UAE. President of Souhardha Lahari Ashok Anchan formally welcomed the gathering and the guests. Anchor Arathi Adiga compered the programme and gave smooth flow to the event. Dinesh Dodangudde concluded the programme with vote of thanks. All the office bearers and members of Souhardha Lahari were present at the well-organized event.
President Ashok Anchan and secretary Yuvaraj Devadiga have requested all the association office bearers, members and Kannadigas living in UAE to witness the mega final competition to be held on Friday, September 27 at Habitat School Auditorium behind Ajman City cCenter, Ajman, starting at sharp 2 pm.
The programme will follow with live orchestra, cultural programme from talented dancers. Dakshina Kannada famous singers Kiran and Dr Shivaprasad will entertain the audience by their vocals.
