Udupi, Sep 22: Mandavi Times Square – Integrated Business Centre, a first of its kind for the citizens of Udupi by Mandavi Developers, was launched in the presence of dignitaries on Saturday, September 21.

Pejawar Math seer Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji, launched the project by lighting the lamp. He also released the brochure of Mandavi Times Square.

In his inaugural address, the seer said, “Dr Jerry Vincent Dias, the proprietor of Mandavi Developers has given houses to thousands through his various projects. However, only constructing residential houses won’t fulfill needs. It is because of projects like Mandavi Times Square, all basic needs are made available under one roof.”

 

“Having an honest attitude and a mindset to serve, one can not only achieve success but also blessings from God. Today, dignitaries from different communities have gathered in one place to bless Dr Jerry and his project. Like river Mandovi, may Dr Jerry Vincent Dias, his family and his ventures flow with richness. May he continue to serve the society in the future as well,” Pejawar seer said.

Sri Vidyasagara Teertha, the pontiff of Shi Krishnapura Math, Udupi, in his address said, “Our elders from the Krishnapura Math are closely associated with this land. Because of it, today, I am here on this occasion. This place is famed for its fertility and is a rich agricultural land. Because of agriculture, revenue was generated and government used to get part of it. Today, government will get revenue because of this new project. Honesty is one such virtue that builds trust and receives God’s blessings. Dr Jerry Vincent Dias is not only a businessman but is closely associated with the various development programmes in all religions.”

Fr Godfrey Saldanha, Mangaluru in his address said, “In the entire world, we can see many Squares. Today we are witnessing the launch of one more Square by Mandavi Developers. The project is coming up in the heart of Udupi city. God has blessed us to witness the inaugural ceremony of Mandavi Times Square.”

Former minister Pramod Madhwaraj in his address said, “Udupi and Manipal are fast growing cities in the entire Karnataka State. Times Square in New York is one of the most visited places by the visitors in the world. In the coming days, may Mandavi Times Square become one of most visited places in India.”

Fr Valerian Mendonca, parish priest, Mother of Sorrows Church, Udupi, Dr Leslie Clifford D’Souza, parish priest, Mount Rosary Church, Kallianpur, Fr Antony Clanny D’Souza, assistant parish priest, Mount Rosary Church, K Ragupathi Bhat, MLA, Udupi, Geetha S Shet, Councilor, Kadiyali, T Satish U Pai, managing director, Manipal Media Network Limited, Sandhya S Pai, editor, Taranga Kannada Weekly, Manipal, Ratnakar Shetty, Sarika Ratnakar Shetty, Purushottam P Shetty, Bhuvanendra Kediyoor, Mercy Merline Dias, Glen Dias, Jason Dias and Dr Lara Dias were present on the dais.

On the occasion, Prakash Simon, architect, was honoured.

Dr Jerry Vincent Dais, managing director, Mandavi Real Estate Developers welcomed the guests and honoured the dignitaries. Glen Dias gave a brief introduction about the project. Dr Lara Dias proposed the vote of thanks.
