Mangalore, Jun 17: Member of Karnatala legislative council Kota Srinias Poojary, who recently visited Morarji Desai Residential School for the minorities located at Natekal near here, has urged Chief Minister Yeddyurappa and Dakshina Kannada district in-charge minister Krishna J Palemar to issue orders to the concerned to tide over the problems faced by the said school.
After a number of the students of the said school fell ill after consuming food, Poojary had paid a visit to this school to assess the situation. He has also demanded for shifting of the school to a building with proper facilities, as bath rooms and toilets of the school are not in proper condition. At the same time, he has recommended for the initiation of action against the non-teaching staff of the school for their failure to protect the interests of the students.
