Mangaluru: ICYM Episcopal city deanery, Tannirbavi enjoy memorable 'Yaaron Ka Diwas -2K19'

Mangaluru, Aug 5: ICYM Episcopal city deanery in collaboration with ICYM Tannirbavi organized Friendship Day on the theme 'Yaaron Ka Diwas -2K19' on August 4 at Tannirbavi Tree Park.

The programme commenced at 4.00 pm with a prayer song led by members of ICYM Tannirbavi unit.

Enola Lesny, Tannirbavi unit welcomed the gathering. ICYM ECD director Fr Anil Pinto, ICYM Central Council president Leon Saldanha, ICYM Central Council PRO and ECD representative Minol Braggs, ICYM ECD president Delitia Pereira were present. Around 90 youths were present at the programme.



Director Fr Anil Pinto in his message explained the importance of friendship and also explained about importance of unity among the youth.

Birthday buddies of August celebrated their birthday by cutting a birthday cake and sharing their joy and happiness as a mark of their birthday celebration in August.

An icebreaking session was conducted by Fr Anil Pinto. Amazing games such as gunny bag race, snatch the bottle, photo pose, tug of war, catching the balloon were conducted by ICYM ECD executive members.

Fr Anil Pinto thanked all the members of ICYM Episcopal city deanery for their active participation in the programme. Enola Lesny compered the programme. Refreshments were served to all.

On the whole, 'Yaaron Ka Diwas -2K19' was a fun filled event with new building of new friends along with various games and entertainment. It was also a memorable evening for all the youth of ICYM episcopal city deanery and a day to remember.
