Kundapur, Jul 6: "The coalition government of Congress and JD (S) has completely failed to conduct administration of the state. None of the ministers of the government are coming to the Vidhana Soudha. They do not even pay courtesy visit to areas that are affected with drought and flood. A systematic plan is being hatched to fail the Kisan Samman Yojana and Ayushman Bharat Yojana of the central government by not responding in suitable manner. The achievements of the central government are received well by the people of the country. BJP workers have to work hard and see that the schemes of the central government reach every one," said Kota Srinivas Poojary, leader of the opposition of legislative council.

Srinivas Poojary was speaking after inaugurating the BJP membership campaign of Kundapur legislative constituency that was held at the BJP office of Kundpaur legislative council on Friday, July 5.

Srinivas Poojary further said, "Membership campaign is necessary for organization. There was a good response for the membership campaign that was held last time. This has helped the party to grow in strength. We have to try to make every voter at the booth level to be a member of the BJP. This time around, efforts should be made to enroll at least 50,000 members. BJP workers have to work as a team and make this campaign a grand success."

Kuthyaru Naveen Shetty, chief secretary of district BJP gave the details of the campaign. Halady Srinivas Shetty, MLA of the taluk and Sadananda Balkoor, co-convener were present.

Kadoor Suresh Shetty did the introductory speech. Chief secretary Bhaskar Billava welcomed the gathering. The programme was compered by Shankar Ankadakatte, convener of membership campaign.
