Kannada film actor Kishore Kumar selected 16th BIFFES brand ambassador

Bengaluru, Jan 9: Popular Kannada film actor Kishore Kumar G, who is also versatile in South India, has been selected as the brand ambassador of the 16th Bengaluru International Film Festival of India.

The state government has issued an official order on the appointment of Kishore Kumar as the brand ambassador of 16th BIFFES being held from March 1 to 8, 2025.

Kishore Kumar is known for his acting in all the South Indian languages of Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam and his selection as brand ambassador of 16th BIFFES is aimed at getting more publicity.

The 16th BIFFES is being held for 8 days in 13 different cinema houses. Apart from screening of films, there will be workshops and seminars on various aspects of the film industry.

Chief minister Siddaramaiah, who is also the chairman of the 16th BIFFES being held in Bengaluru, said “Sarva Janangda Shantiya Thota” (Garden of peace for all communities) is the theme of the film festival.
Popular and renowned film makers and experts would be invited to participate in the film festival, the chief minister said.
