Bengaluru, Jul 5: Former union minister and veteran Congress leader K H Muniyappa, expressed the opinion that there is lack of coordination between the Congress and the JD(S) in Karnataka and that unless this issue is addressed at the earliest, this problem can endanger the government.
Speaking to media persons after meeting in-charge of Karnataka Congress affairs K C Venugopal, he said that the state government is going through difficult phase where the issue of coordination has to be addressed urgently. He informed that he has conveyed this opinion to Venugopal.
"Discontent is brewing within the party as second rung leaders are not given importance in the ministry. Even seniors are overlooked. Leaders have overlooked seniority of H K Patil, Ramalinga Reddy and Roshan Baig, and instead mad people close to them as ministers. This has given rise to a wrong signal. Senior leaders including Siddaramaiah have to introspect on this matter," he urged.
