Mumbai, May 15: The thirty-third branch of the metro-based Bharath Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited, located in the basement of Galaxy Building, Panvel (East), Navi Mumbai, was inaugurated on Thursday May 14.
The bank’s former chairman and metro-based Billava Association president Jaya C Suvarna inaugurated the branch by cutting the ribbon.
Bharath Bank founder chairman Varada Ullal and veteran restaurateur Suresh Kanchan lit the lamp.
Bank chairman Vasudev R Kotian and deputy chairman lawyer Rohini J Salian offered the banking and locker facility to the service of its customers.
Vidwan Sadasiv Shanti performed ‘Vaastu puja’, ‘Ganahoma’, and a ‘Satyanarayan puja’ on the occasion. Suresh Kanchan and wife were also present during the ‘puja’.
Bank directors M B Kukyan, Pushpalata N Salian, L V Amin, Raja V Salian, Jyoti K Suvarna, M V Sanil, Y Nagesh, Mohan G Poojary, Chandrashekar S Poojry, S K Kotian, N Nityanand, Rohit M Suvarna, and chief executive officer J C Poojary were also present.
Bank customers, well-wishers, entrepreneur K Sadashiv, Ramesh Poojary Nerul and others were present to convey their best wishes.
Bank chief manager C R Mulky, Anilkumar Amin, B K Amin, deputy general manager Professor Shekar Poojary, assistant general managers Nityanand D Kotian, Shobha Dayanand, Suresh Salian, managers Mohandas Hejamady, and Harish K Hejamady, Panvel branch manager, were also present.
