Mangaluru, Jun 21: Sangeet Bharati Foundation, Mangaluru, will organise a unique Santavani music programme ‘Bolava Vittala’ at Town Hall on July 21 from 5.30 pm.
‘Pancham Nishad’, a renowned music event organising unit from Mumbai has been organising ‘Bolava Vittala’ programme in many cities in India with a view to extol god Sree Panduranga during the month of ‘Ashaaddha’. The organisers have been conducting this programme in Pune, Mumbai, Nasik, Chennai, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Goa, Kolkata, Bengaluru and many other cities. In Mangaluru, it is being held the second time and it is held under the aegis of Sangeet Bharati Foundation. The programme features recitals by music maestros of international fame such as Pt Raghunandan Panshikar from Pune, Bombay Jayashree and Pt Jayatheertha Mevundi from Hubbali.
“Here is an opportunity for the coastal music lovers to enjoy sublime music with great music exponents reciting their spell binding nonstop hour celestial music. It is a free programme (but entry only to the bearers of entry pass). Interested people may get the entry pass by registering their names at Expert PU College, Kodialbail, from July 15,” said the vice president of Sangeet Bharati Foundation Narendra L Nayak.
