Puttur, Jun 16: Jayaraj Jain Elika, resident of Elika of Narimogaru village in the taluk killed himself on the morning of Sunday, June 16.
Jayaraj Jain Elika (65) was found hanging from a tree near his house.
Jayaraj was a well-known Congress leader.
He was also the vice-president of Puttur Koti Chennaya Jodukare Kambala Samiti and president of welcoming committee.
He is survived by wife and a son.
