Vijayapura: Let Yeddyurappa desert BJP and join Congress to become CM – M B Patil

Daijiworld Media Network – Vijayapura (EP)

Vijayapura, Jun 5: “We will cooperate to make BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa to be the chief minister if he deserts BJP and joins Congress,” said home minister M B Patil.

Speaking to news reporters on Wednesday, June 5, Patil said that BJP leaders have been saying repeatedly for the last one year that the state government would fall and they would form new government. “The coalition government in the state is secure. It is not good for Yeddyurappa to long to be the chief minister in the current circumstances,” he said.

“I am in Congress at present. Yeddyurappa is in BJP. Being eager to be the chief minister for him is not wrong. I have no objection for it. If he deserts BJP and comes, I will help him to be the chief minister,” he assured.

Few months back when Mr. M B Patil did not get minister post, he was planning to desert congress and join BJP.

Now he became Home Minister and is showing his character to Yeddi as if CM post is in his pocket.

He does not not know how many days he will hold his post as already several contenders are there for minister post.

Instead of thinking to rebuild the party which got a bad drubbing in the MP election these leaders are engaged in loose talks.

MB Patil has given Yeddy a food for thought. Not a bad idea Mr Yeddy, why cant you give a try? After all, the goal is to become CM, ...party .. who cares.. Specially in Indian politics its "Aag lage basthi me, Baba rahe masthi me"..
