Bengaluru, Jun 5: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leaders have advised MPs who got elected recently mainly due to the charisma of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to keep their standing and character pure. They told the elected representatives to properly respond to the problems and expectations of people from the state and also work to strengthen their party.
RSS leaders held two separate meetings for the MPs at Rashtrothana Yoga Kendra, Sadashivanagar here on Tuesday June 4 where these suggestions were given. The first meeting was meant to hold discussions with the MPs and later, the leaders discussed various issues with the members of the state BJP core committee.
RSS Saha Karyavaha, C R Kukund, Sangh Chalak for Karnataka,Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, V Nagaraj, joint organizing secretary of RSS, B L Santhosh, and others participated in the deliberations. BJP state president, B S Yeddyurappa, state BJP in-charge, Muraleedhar Rao, union ministers, D V Sadananda Gowda and Suresh Angadi, senior leaders, Jagadish Shettar, K S Eshwarappa, B Sriramulu Govind Karjol and some other MPs participated.
It is said that RSS leaders urged the newly elected parliamentarians to understand that people from all strata, castes, and groups have supported their party and therefore urged them to take steps to mitigate problems faced by the people by behaving responsibly.
