Bengaluru, Jun 3: “Chief minister H D Kumaraswamy has started a new drama in front of the people in the state in the name of village stay,” said opposition leader B S Yeddyurappa.
Speaking in Bengaluru on Monday, June 3, Yeddyurappa said that Kumaraswamy stayed in Taj West End Hotel for the last one year instead of Vidhana Soudha. “He could not meet ordinary people there. He was criticized and asked several times but he did not change his mind,”
“The administration in the state has completely collapsed during the last one year. District in-charge ministers, officials, other ministers or MLAs did not step into drought-affected areas,” he alleged.
“It is necessary for the chief minister to visit drought-affected areas first and help the people in their difficulties. We too will be visiting those areas after June 5,” he said.
