Mangaluru May 30: 'Juice Junction' happens to be one of the renowned and oldest juice shops in Balmatta area of the city. It is a place that is often sought after by the people to enjoy different flavors of juice on offer there.
Juice Junction has maintained its reputation for quality of product and service since its inception 28 years ago. Juice Junction has taken a step towards supporting the 'Go Green' initiative by beginning to distribute free saplings to its customers from Wednesday, May 29 onward.
Now the customers get to take back a sapling home and lend support for the success of the Go Green initiative taken up by Juice Junction shop.
Speaking to Daijiworld. com, owner of Juice Junction, Arun Naik, said,"I always wanted to do my bit to contribute towards the Go Green initiative. I have now decided to distribute saplings to the customers of Juice Junction. I feel that this also happens to be a duty cast upon me to contribute something from my side to the society as there has to be some action instead of words. So I have taken a simple step of distributing saplings at a convenient place to encourage people towards the Go Green initiative."
"We are planning to continue with the sapling distribution for the next 15 days, We started on May 29, and on the first day we managed to distribute 100 mango saplings to the customers. I take this opportunity to urge other shops to follow suit, by distributing saplings to their customers, so that everyone gets involved with the Go Green initiative. We will not confine ourselves to distributing mango sapling. In the coming days we will distribute teak and other saplings too," said Arun Naik.
Employee of Juice junction Dinesh said, "Once the distribution of sapling began on the first day after 5pm , as many as 100 saplings were distributed for free. Even today since morning several people have come to the shops asking for saplings. , The response has been positive from the customers for this initiative," he explained.
