Kalaburagi, May 22: Amid signs of further fission between the coalition partners ruling the state, BJP's Umesh Jadhav has said that as many as 25 Congress MLAs including Roshan Baig himself would soon be joining the saffron party.
Reacting to the comments by Roshan Baig who openly vented his anger against the state Congress leaders, Jadhav said, "All signs are there of more than 25 MLAs of Congress including Roshan Baig joining the BJP. They will join BJP to give a stable government in the state of Karnataka.
Umesh Jadhav, who had quit Congress to contest on BJP ticket from Kalaburagi Lok Sabha constituency, expressed confidence that his victory as well the victory of his son who had contested in the assembly by-poll of Chincholi is certain.
"Senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge is alleging faults in the EVMs, which means that BJP is going to win and Congress is going to lose. Kharge is speaking even before the results are announced as if he has secured an anticipatory bail. It seems sure that the Congress is going to get defeated. I will win for sure," said Jadhav.
He also said that Narendra Modi is going to be the PM of the country for the second time and Yeddyurappa will become the chief minister of Karnataka.
