Mangaluru: Godse birthday celebration - Leader of Hindu Maha Sabha arrested

Mangaluru, May 22: Rajesh Poojary, leader of All India Hindu Maha Sabha was arrested by the police for celebrating the birthday of Nathuram Godse inspite of prevailing controversies on Godse in the country.

On May 19, Godse’s birthday was celebrated by Hindu Maha Sabha and floral tributes were offered to his portrait.

In this celebration, which took place at one Vishwanath at Ashraya Colony, state president of Hindu Maha Sabha L K Suvarna also took part.

A suo moto case was registered against five people in the Ullal police station in this regard. The case was filed against state convener of Hindu Maha Sabha Rajesh Poojary, chief secretary of All India Hindu Maha Sabha Dharmendra and activists Vishwanath Poojary and Lohith.

Police have taken Rajesh Poojary into custody for interrogation.

    No.I dont understand our some people any more.Are they still illiterates ?does one celebrate ones birthday who kills your Bapu?Am I too old to understand?Or people are so young they have lost their memory..?Dear Mahathma ,please dont take it to heart ,that these people are still illiterate to know our history of India.

    Why giving them too much publicity let them celebrate anybodys birthday its democracy we do not like godse but we cannot stop some people fond of his policies so let them do it media should not give them too much publicity. Its a free country anybody can do anything but father of our nation is Mahatma Gandhi thats it

    For the one’s who do not understand the difference between the Freedom fighter and Terrorist.

    The one’s who fought against the British for the independence of this country or to free their home land from the white terrorists are known as FREEDOM FIGHTERS.
    For e.g. – Tippu Sulthan, Mahathma Ghandhiji, Hyder Ali, Bhagat Singh.

    The one’s who killed the FREEDOM FIGHTERS like Tippu/ ghandhiji are known as TERRORISTS. For e.g. – Godse, British etc

    You got a bias views or thoughts ! Todays India lost the meaning of FREEDOM ! HOWEVER neither Gandhiji Nor Tipu doesn't have any clue about BHARAT RASTRA which was literally britishers who linked as a whole nation WHICH NOT DONE from the freedom fighters ! for your surprise ! some states were not willing to join India in order to run independent >COUNTRY>
