Bengaluru, May 16: In a shocking incident which happened at Devarajeevanahalli in the city on Wednesday May 15, a person engaged in fish vending was killed for reportedly behaving with a woman in an inappropriate manner. He was stabbed to death at around 4.30 am on Wednesday.
Zaraar, resident of Roshan Nagar here, working as fish vendor, paid by his life for misbehaving with a woman. He was murdered at his home by the brothers and husband of the woman he had targetted. The killers have been identified as the woman's brothers, Muhammed Ishaq, Muhammed Ghouse, and Sadiq as well as her husband, Rizwan. It is said that her relatives, identified as Salman and Syed Ahmed were also involved in the attack.
The police arrested the accused persons the same day. As per the version given to the police, Zaraar had a fight with the woman in question on a silly matter some days ago. Growing angry at this development, he used to pester the lady after coming back fully drunk every evening. On Tuesday night too he had come to the woman when no one else was at home, and used abusive language. She had narrated the incident to her husband and brothers.
The brothers and husband of the lady could not take Zaraar's unacceptable behaviour anymore. They rushed into Zaraar's house, and indiscriminately massacred him with sharp weapons in the wee hours on Wednesday.
The two families had very good relationship till recently as they lived in the same neighbourhood but the same had turned sour due to Zaraar's behaviour, it is said.
