Mangaluru, May 15: The leg parts of Shreemathi Shetty’s body were found concealed under some leaves near Srinivasa Mallya Park in Kadri on Wednesday May 15, it is learnt.
There is also unconfirmed information that the murder was committed relating to financial issues.
Shreemathi was found murdered on Sunday.

Background
The body of a woman was found to have been chopped into pieces, and bundled in two separate bags. One of these bags were found near Kadri Park while the other was disposed of near the graveyard at Nandigudda in the city on May 12. Later, the identity of the body was established as belonging to Shreemathi Shetty, resident of Amar Alva lane in the city, who was running an electric appliances repair unit.
Shreemathi, a native of Polali Mogaru, was a divorcee. She had married a second time. Her current husband is in judicial custody relating to a case of theft, it is gathered. The two-wheeler on which she had left her home on Saturday, was traced from Nagori here on May 13. The police teams have been vigorously investigating the case, by putting together clues from CCTV footage, eyewitness accounts, and questioning people having connections with her.
