Byndoor: Kerala man turns sick when paying obeisance, passes away

Byndoor, May 13: A person from Kerala, who had come to Kollur on pilgrimage accompanied by wife and friends, fell seriously ill when paying obeisance at Goddess Mookambika temple at Kollur and breathed his last. This incident happened on Sunday May 12.

The man who left for heavenly abode in this fashion was P C Subrahmanyan (45), resident of Pullat Colony at Melkuri, Malappuram district. He suffered from acute chest pain near the sanctum sanctorum of the temple and collapsed. Immediately he was taken to the community health centre at Byndoor by an ambulance. The doctors who checked him confirmed that he had breathed his last on the way.

On the basis of report filed by wife of the deceased, Sujata P C, a case of unnatural death was registered in Kollur police station.
