Mangalore, Apr 6: The Communist Party of India (Marxist) Mangalore constituency candidate B Madhava filed his nomination papers for the upcoming election on Monday April 6.
He was accompanied by the president of the district committee of Janata Dal (Secular) Balaraj Rai, Zilla Panchayat member Abdul Azeez, CPI (M) state secretariat G N Nagaraj, and K R Shriyan. Madhava is testing his luck under the Third Front flag.
Speaking to media persons after filing the nomination Madhava said that people have been frustrated by the BJP and Congress and the Third Front would come to power after the election. “I am confidant about winning the election”, he added.
Rai said that JD (S) workers would give full support to Madhava since he is an eligible candidate.
