Mangaluru: Two-day event COGNIT begins at Sahyadri College

Mangaluru, May 4: Senior software engineer of Intel Bengaluru, Manu Bhat, along with founder and CEO of Dev Apps IT systems, Suhas Shetty, inaugurated two-day event COGNIT-2019 here at Sahyadri College on Saturday, May 4, organised by department of computer science and engineering.

Addressing the gathering, Manu Bhat said, "I urge everyone to make best use of this two-day event COGNIT. This should help you to make your mark in the corporate world,”



Speaking on the occasion, Suhas Shetty said," I have worked with the students of Sahyadri College and they are well trained because of the training that they get in Sahyadri. Nurture yourself in which you are good at and do not engage in every field. This programme is a platform to showcase your skills,”

Lead actor of ‘Soojidaara’ Kannada movie Yashwanth Shetty said," Sahyadri is the best campus I have ever seen because of its outdoor and indoor facilities. My movie Soojidaara is releasing on May 10. I can see the dream in your eyes, Try to chase the dream and you will reach success."

Head of Computer science department Dr J V Gorabal said," I congratulate all the staffs and students for the hard work put up for the success of this event. You need to focus on your skills. Then you can excel in your field. This event is more on the programming skills and your abilities.”

Ankitha proposed vote of thanks.

Assistant professor of computer science Shailesh Shetty and producer of Soojidaara film Abhijith Kotegar were also present.
