Moodbidri, Apr 18: Member of Padumarnadu gram panchayat and leader of BJP Abhinandan Ballal has alleged that he has been assaulted by his own partymen.
The incident was reported at the polling booth at Padumarnadau near here.
Abhinandan Ballal has alleged that former president of Padumarnadu gram panchayat Srinath Suvarna and his brother Sharath Suvarna assaulted him and also abused him, demanding to know what he was doing there.

Abhinandan, who got injured in the attack, has been admitted into the Wenlock hospital in the city of Mangaluru.
In a counter allegation, Abhinandan Ballal and his gang are accused of assaulting a Dalit youth, who is said to be a member of the BJP. The Dalit youth is also admitted into the hospital.
Both the parties have filed complaint and counter complaint with regard to the incident.
