Mangalore, Mar 20: Bishop Aloysius Paul D’Souza condemned the rising incidences of communal violence all over Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts, which are increasing suspicion among the people of various faiths and religion causing fear.
He said that those propagating such evil should be curbed from endangering religious and human values.
The Bishop also urged all religious leaders and human rights activists to collectively oppose such unreligious acts.
He said that Indians by and large lived peacefully and harmoniously with their diverse culture and religions over the past many centuries.
Bishop D’Souza also urged the district administration of undivided Dakshina Kannada district to punish all those involved in such activities.
