Mangaluru, Apr 12: The Capuchin Friars in the city will present 'Hosanna Saanz', a portrayal of final days of Jesus. The unique show will be held on Sunday, April 14 at St Agnes Special School ground at 6 pm.
From Jesus triumphant entry into Jerusalem to his eventual crucifixion six days later, the key moments have been immortalized in many scenes, pieces of music and dance. ‘Hosanna Saanz ‘ will unfold political events that happened in Rome two thousand years back. The events will be performed on a stage with the help of three forms of arts with the help of lights and other electronic devices.
Along with priestly congregations, Carmelites, SVD, Dominicans and Jesuits the religious congregations Bethany, SRA, Apostolic Carmelite, Sisters of Charity, Ursuline Franciscan will participate in this show as co-organisers.
The portrayal contains the songs of late Fr Walter Albuquerque, Fr Baptist Pais, SVD, Fr Melwyn D’Souza, Capuchin. Fr Charles Vas, SVD, Fr Alwyn Sequeira Carmelite and Fr Chetan Lobo. Joel Periera is handling music part and Raveen Martis will be the editor of video part. Young and talented artistes around Mangaluru will take part in this play.

Earlier the Capuchin Friars presented musical plays 'Voparichi Saanz' and 'Bethlehemachi Saanz' which were widely appreciated by the audience.
