Kalaburagi, Apr 10: A teacher of a primary school was suspended for campaigning Congress and Kalaburagi candidate Mallikarjuna Kharge in social media.

Vittal Vaggan, serving as a teacher at Bemalli government primary school, was suspended for campaigning for Congress and Kalaburagi candidate Mallikarjuna Kharge in social media.

Vittal Vaggan had posted derogatory remarks against BJP leaders and the union government in Facebook and Hwatsapp. He was also posting and sharing cartoons insulting BJP and its ministers.

Hence, DDPI Shanthagowda Patil issued a suspension order against Vaggan under KCSR, CCA and Representation Act 1951.

    But why? Teacher is also a voter, right? Why can't he express his opinions.

    The Zee TV and &TV are campaigning for BJp through the serials like Tujhse hai Raabta and Bhabhiji ghar par hain. Election commission is in deep sleep. And Chaukidar himself is under scanner for violating model code of conduct.

    If one has to put control, then it should be on rallies of PM. I don't know who is running our country now as our PM is in rally mode for months altogether and covered about 100 rallies. Remaining time he is either in Mann ki baath or Twitter, or in Overseas veg. bir ya ni tours.
