Bengaluru, Apr 10: Many areas in the coastal region as well as southern parts of the state received good rainfall on Tuesday, April 10.
Subramanya in Dakshina Kannada received 4 cm rain.
Jayapura received 3 cm rain, Dharmasthala, Puttur, Banavasi, Krishnarajasagar received, 2 cms each rain and Aloor, Hassan, Belur, Dudda, Narasipur, Kammaradi, Hunchadakatte, HAL airport and Srirangapatna received one cm each rain.
There was no major change in temperature. The highest temperature of 42 degrees was recorded in Ballari.
Three people have died due to lightening in the state. Dallali Ranganna(68), Magodi village, Tumkur resident has died of lightning when he went to tie cattle in the shed.
Hoovanna,(55), resident of Bukkapattana, Shira taluk and Revana(48), resident of P Kodihalli village, Kadur taluk have also lost their lives due to lightning. Revana was working in his land when the lightning struck.
As per forecast by weather forecast office, rain coupled with thunder and lightning is likely in many places of the state.
