Bengaluru, Mar 29: Chief minister, H D Kumaraswamy, through a tweet to union minister, Anant Kumar Hegde, has criticised the latter about his choice of words.
"The language we use reflects our culture. Unfortunately you are a union minister and candidate for Lok Sabha election. I request you not to use words relating to mental disorders when spewing venom. Thousands of people suffering from mental illness and their family members ave been silently going through harrowing ordeal of having to live with these problems. You are advised not to use certain words which are aimed at deriding others, and insult such people. Making such statements, in a way, seems to have become a habit for you. I have sympathy for your habit of issuing statements and then backing out," he remarked.
Anant Kumar Hegde had condemned chief minister, Kumaraswamy, for launching verbal tirade against BJP leaders relating to income tax raids. He had said that Kumaraswamy is not even fit for the job of a clerk and that he suffers from mental disorder related to politics. His tweet also indicated that Kumaraswamy has been shouting out of hallucination.
