State JD (S) president H Vishwanath suffers mild heart attack

Bengaluru, Mar 16: H Vishwanath, state president of JD (S) suffered mild cardiac attack at Hyderabad on the evening of Friday, March 15.

Vishwanath, who suffered chest pain in the airport itself, was immediately admitted to the Ozone hospital in Lal Bahadur Shastri city of Hyderabad and is being treated.

Dr Manjunath of Jayadeva hospital of the city are in constant touch with the doctors of Ozone hospital and are getting all the updates on the health of Vishwanath.

Three stents were inserted into the heart of Vishwanath in the past. As one of the stents had some malfunctioning, he suffered mild heart attack. His condition is showing improvement. After observing the status of his health, decision will be taken to bring him to Jayadeva hospital in the city for advance treatment. According to the information available, it will be decided in the evening of Saturday, March 15 to bring him either in an air ambulance or normal passenger flight depending upon his health condition.

Vishwanath had gone to Hyderabad to take part in a programme of the Shepherd community on Thursday. Former minister H M Revanna was with Vishwanath in the airport, when he had the cardiac attack.
