Beltangady, Mar 15: While the entire country is paying its respects to the Indian defence forces, a resident of Beltangady has gone an extra mile to do the same. He has named his newly built house after brave pilot wing commander Abhinandan Varthaman.
The new house belongs to Kusal and family. The house warming ceremony of the house will be held on April 14 at Baarya in Belthangady.
Kusal, who runs a laundry shop at Beltangady, is the son of Annu and Sundari Poojary. He is married to Devika. The couple is blessed with two children.
Speaking to Daijiworld.com Kusal said, "It is our duty to respect wing commander Abhinandan and the forces defending our country. Hence, I decided to name our new house as ‘Abhinandan’ to pay respect to the hero. The construction of the new house is on and ‘Abhinandan’ name plate is ready. Along with the name plate, his image will be put up.”
India has been lauding Abhinandan’s effort in different ways. In Mangaluru, a private bus in the city has paid its respects to Indian defence forces and India’s brave pilot wing commander Abhinandan Varthaman by drawing a picture of the pilot on the bus.
