Mangaluru, Jan 16: Venu Sharma has urged all the political parties who would be fighting the coming general election, to prepare their manifesto and plans of action for achieving a beautiful and grand future for the country and place them before the people.
He was addressing a media conference at New Delhi on Friday.
Venu Sharma is a Mangaluru based management consultant hailing from Kasargod district.
"A website, 'My Antharathma' has been created to put forth suggestions for realizing the concept of an affluent India. People can share their thoughts on this forum. Excellent among them would be forwarded to people who are involved with the work of drafting policies by 'Main Antharathma' team, he stated.
Myantharathma.org has laid out 9-Plus important areas with the support of which a nation is to be built. There is a need for a vision-driven approach from the policymakers and the other pillars of the democracy to work on the various social and economic front. There are policies and rules for a few sectors but are old and outdated or they are no more in practice. Hence, 'My Antharathma' wishes to give a platform to the sound minded people where they can debate upon issues concerning the nation and make their voices heard, he said.
The 9+ point agenda for the discourse are Agro Sector, Bank & Finance, Education, Automobile, Pharma-Health-Hospital, Manufacturing & Trading, Social Issues, System-Process & Good Governance with Transparency, and International Relations & Patriotism. The visitors can talk about any of these topics to start a discussion and reach a genuine conclusion.
Sharma felt that there needs to be major changes in the fields of agriculture, finance, education, health, medicines - hospitals, production and business, burning social issues, automobile, system and processes, good governance and transparency, international relations, and patriotism.
"Political parties should conceptualize India in the next 20 - 25 years before drawing up their plans," he said.
"I work as an adviser for management entrepreneurs. The policy makers and Niti Ayog should think differently and move ahead for overall progress of India," he felt.
He noted that India is rich with young people, its unique tradition and culture. "Therefore, there is a need to combine these things with the modernity and modern technology and lead the young generation in right direction. Plans should aim at achieving this objective. The commissions formed by the government should formulate clean, creative, and transparent policies towards this end," he said.
He also has questioned whether 'Swachh Bharat', Yoga, and Hindutwa principles preached by Prime Minister Modi can alone build India of the future. He felt that Indianness with Hindutwa within the framework of the constitution is the need of the day. "We have to prepare 100 good young leaders as advised by Swami Vivekananda. This is my dream about a rich, affluent India," he stated. He said he would be speaking about the pros and cons of 'Make in India' concept in the coming days.
