Bengaluru, Jan 16: Karnataka chief minister (CM), H D Kumaraswamy, has said that Congress MLAs currently staying at a hotel in Mumbai continue to be unreachable for the media. He however claimed that he has been in touch with every one of them and that he has been speaking to disgruntled leaders. He expressed the confidence that these legislators will retract their steps and come back. "Our coalition government is moving ahead smoothly. I am as relaxed as yesterday and there is no room for worry," he asserted.
In a related tweet, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president, Dinesh Gundu Rao, said that the BJP has been revealing its true face to the people now. "BJP has been indulging in corrupt, unethical and unconstitutional means to grab power at any cost. Its efforts to destabilize the government will fall flat. This is the right time to end Mafia Raj of Modi and Shah," he stated.
Dinesh also pointed out at a statement issued by Maharashtra minister, Ram Shinde, after the two independents resigned, about the BJP gaining upper hand in Karnataka within two days to prove that BJP, which has been denying any role in the efforts to unseat the government, is actually involved with it.
