Bengaluru, Jan 16: There is information that former chief minister of Karnataka, B S Yeddyurappa, when speaking to party legislators on Tuesday, promised to give them information that would make them elated shortly. This, many feel, is a clear indication that the seasoned politician, who happens to be the president of Karnataka state unit of the party, has some master plan up his sleeve and the coalition in the state may have a daunting task before it to save itself from being reduced into a minority.
Sources said that Yeddyurappa's prediction about the fast approaching time for celebration came when he was speaking to party legislators who had come together on the occasion of Makara Sankranti at a hotel in Gurugram near New Delhi where they have been kept.
Yeddyurappa supposedly warned the legislators against talking to the media about this aspect. He reiterated that the party MLAs can expect positive development to take place within a couple of days.
Most of the BJP legislators from Karnataka chose to stay inside the rooms allotted to them on Tuesday. A few however, opted to play cricket in the ground in the afternoon. Some were found walking around the golf course nearby.
