Mangaluru, Jan 14: The mortal remains of Dinesh (45), resident of Ullal Arasuhitlu, was found from the beach at Kotepura, Ullal, on the evening of Sunday January 13. He had gone missing under mysterious circumstances three days back.
Dinesh was last seen at Mudipu on January 11. A missing complaint had thereafter been filed in Konaje police station. On Friday, Dinesh had visited Lord Ayyappa shrine at Ullal before leaving for work as per routine.
Dinesh looked after gardening work at Infosys Ltd's facility at Mudipu on contract basis. On that day he had not returned home. He also did not give any information before leaving.
As Dinesh was suffering from ill health since the last some years, there is a feeling that he would have been frustrated and this would have forced him to take away his own life. His decomposed body was found near the fish mill at Kotepura beach, and the family members identified his body on the basis of footwear, shirt, and the thread tied to his wrist.
Dinesh was the pillar of strength for his family. He is survived by his sick mother, wife, and a daughter. Ullal police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
