Very good initiative by St. Aloysius College, Mangalore and congratulations to the visionaries behind setting up Civil Service Academy. No doubt, this academy will well prepare students to pass the competitive exams. However, what needed the most is the personality development in students. They need to be trained to stand up for righteousness, fairness and justice and not become the Peons of politicians. May this Academy begins a new chapter in Indian Civil Service history is my wish.

The best gift one can give another is the gift of education and this is the gift that The Jesuit Fathers make available to the people of Mangalore and to several others. I am proud to be an Aloysian and I am sure thousands of past students sing the same refrain.

What is Mr. Michale D'Souza doing now. He is only returning to St. Aloysius in some measure for THE GIFT OF EDUCATION that he has received at this Alma Mater.

    LONG LIVE ST. ALOYSIUS
