Mangaluru, Jan 10: BJP spokesperson Jeethendra Kottary on Wednesday, January 10, described MLC Ivan D’Souza’s allegations at BJP as ‘election gimmicks’ to get ticket for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Addressing media he said, "Congress is blaming BJP that the Centre has no enough funds to take up development works. On the other hand, Ivan is speaking about tearing MP Nalin Kumar Kateel’s clothes. If he has courage, let him touch Nalin Kumar Kateel. I challenge Ivan to contest election and win it,”

“Congress does not have capable candidates to contest upcoming elections and now they are busy blaming BJP. Ivan is striving hard to get ticket to contest the elections and is diverting minds of people with fake allegations at BJP. Ivan never spoke in favour of renaming St Aloysius College Road to Mulky Sunder Ram Shetty Road and now he is holding fast over Vijaya Bank merger,” he said.

Corporator Premananda Shetty, Bhaskar Chandra Shetty, Sanjay Prabhu and others were present.

Whats is the use of sending Nalini to Delhi who can neither speak English nor Hindi . Only language he knows is Tulu and that will be of no use outside D.K. At lease Ivan will speak in Parliament.

At present if he gets the ticket , then he will definitely speak in Parliament not like our present MP. Recent years no BJP MP from DK or Udupi is able to talk or done anything for our District.
