Kundapur, Dec 25: After a Mahindra Bolero vehicle hit a pedestrian near Koravadi Cross, Tekkatte in the taluk on national highway 66, a pedestrian was killed. In the accident which happened on Monday December 24 evening, Parameshwar (42) belonging to Sagar in Shivamogga district breathed his last on the spot.

Parameshwar was residing at Koravadi Manibettu since the last several years. The accident happened while crossing the road. After the accident, the Bolero driver fled in his vehicle.

Traffic police from here rushed to the spot, registered a case and undertook investigation.
