Kuwait, Dec 12: Christ the King Prayer Family celebrated its annual Christmas Tree at Holy Family cathedral hall on Thursday December 11 from 7.00 pm. The programme started with formal welcome by Cyril Lobo followed by prayer by Jessy D’Souza. Fr Melwyn D'Cunha delivered Christmas message with his special way which was appreciated by all. Christmas cake was distributed to all.
Well-known personalities Valley D’Sa and Stanley Pinto were honoured during the function. The audience was entertained with children’s action melody and dance by youth. A musical skit ‘Prodigal Son’ played by Francis D'Souza and team was appreciated by everyone. Cow joke by Angelo and group tickled the ribs of audience. Audience were given lots of prizes through spot games, quiz and Hamper Draw.
Children were excited by the grand entry of Santa with lots of goodies and gifts. Cyril Lobo thanked every one. Deacon Sylvester led the grace before meal. Delicious dinner was served at the end. The programme was well compered both in Konkani and English by Roshan and Blessy.
