Mangaluru, Dec 5: Provincial of Karnataka Jesuit province Dr Stanislaus D’Souza SJ inaugurated the new building of St Aloysius Gonzaga CBSE School here at Kodialbail on Wednesday, December 5.
Bishop of Mangalore diocese Dr Peter Paul Saldanha blessed the new school building and director of Little Rock Indian School Brahmavar Prof Mathew Ninan unveiled the plaque.
“Students in every generation have looked forward to study in St Aloysius institutions not because of its concept, idea and extracurricular activities but because the institution has become a model for early and higher education. St Aloysius Gonzaga is boon to church, blessing to the society. St Aloysius institution has followed in his footsteps. CBSE is a great gift and management has put up great effort in planning and executing everything that is conducive for quality education,” said Dr Peter Paul Saldanha.
Provincial Karnataka Jesuit province Dr Stanislaus D’Souza SJ said," I congratulate the management for this beautiful building. This is a space for opportunities to enrich the students and enhance learning process. Staff of this school is excited to make this building a home away from home. St Aloysius has put up an effort for quality education since its inception. This institution has provided best facilities and mentors which has brought difference in the life of students".
NRI Philanthropist Michael D’Souza and family from Dubai donated generously for the auditorium and library of the new building.
The five storeys St Aloysius Gonzaga has a auditorium, spacious classroom with educational paintings on the walls of the classroom and a spacious children play area and all basic amenities for the students in providing quality of education to the students.
Meanwhile, architect Lawrence Cutinho, contractor Richard Rodrigues, and site engineer Harish were felicitated.
St Aloysius Gonzaga CBSE School principal Grace Noronha presented the annual report for the scholastic year 2018-19.
Fr Dionysius Vaz S J, rector, St Aloysius Institution welcomed the gathering.
