Mangaluru, Dec 4: To commemorate the 450th birth anniversary of St Aloysius Gonzaga, the new building of St Aloysius Gonzaga School, part of the prestigious 139 year old St Aloysius College Institutions will be blessed and inaugurated on December 5 at 3.30pm. A full-fledged school affiliated to CBSE, Delhi having a six storey building has been erected in Kodialbail, here.
The magnificent School building has 52 ultra modern classrooms, spacious library with more than 15 thousand books, Computer Labs, Science Laboratories and indoor games area. The school building is well equipped with facilities for extra-curricular and co-curricular activities.
The newly built edifice will be blessed by the bishop of Mangaluru diocese, Dr Peter Paul Saldanha and inaugurated by the provincial, Karnataka Jesuit Province, Dr Jerome Stanislaus D’Souza SJ in the presence of the rector of St Aloysius Institutions, Fr Dionysius Vaz SJ and the manager of St Aloysius Gonzaga School Fr Melwin Mendonca SJ.
The special invitees for the occasion are state minister for Urban Development and Housing, U T Khader, MLA, Vedavyasa Kamath, MLC, Ivan D’Souza and mayor of Mangaluru City Corporation, Bhaskar K.
