Mangalore, Nov 28: The 'Second Kudla Kalavali Kalamela', organized by Dakshina Kannada district artists and S S Creation, will be held at Kadri Park near here on Saturday November 29 and 30.
Around two hundred artists will participate on the occasion, presenting over 3,500 artistic pieces, said N S Pattar, chief convener of Kudla Kalavali, speaking at the press conference on Thursday November 27.
Various forms of art like geometrical drawing, portrait, nature drawing, collage, wall painting, caricature, photographs, abstract drawing, sand sculpture and handicraft articles will be on display at Kudla Kalavali, he said.
Apart from it, a painting competition will be conducted for the primary and high school children in memory of the late Sanjeev Shetty.
Krishna J Palemar, district in-charge minister will inaugurate the Kalamela on Saturday November 29 at 9.30 am.
J S Khanderao, president, Karnataka Lalita Kala Academy will preside over the function. U K Basu, managing director, Mangalore Refinery Petrochemical Limited will inaugurate the mart. Chaitanya Talloor, chief manager, State Bank of India will preside over the valedictory ceremony. P P Karant, senior artist will be felicitated on the occasion.
Dinesh Holla, secretary, Karunakara M H, S S Creations, Kandan G and others were present at the press conference.
