Mangaluru: SDM PG Centre launches research cell, holds Management Consultancy Research workshop

Mangaluru, Nov 23: “It is important to inculcate research orientation in order to improve your competencies and learning process,” said Sumitha Achar, assistant professor, St Aloysius College on inaugurating the research cell at SDM Post Graduate Centre for Management Studies and Research, here on November 23.

She conducted a workshop on the topic Management Consultancy Research and addressed the students and explained the methodology in conducting research which will be helpful to students during the course of their internships and projects.

The research cell was inaugurated by Sumitha Achar while Neha Shetty was the alumnus guest, who is presently pursuing research at Mangalore University. Neha stressed on the importance of research and said that more students should opt for studies in research in order to develop new knowledge and have an open outlook to find practical solutions to academic issues.

Student co-ordinator Dhanya welcomed the gathering. Brunda rendered the vote of thanks. Director Dr Seema S Shenoy and staff co-ordinator Deepa Nayak P were present on the occasion. Shreya compered the programme.
