Mangalore, Nov 22: ‘Beary Souharda and Kala Sangama-2008’ presented by Saniya Media was held at Town Hall on Thursday November 20. MLA UT Khader, S Ganesh Rao, founder president, Karavali group of colleges, and Kripa Amar Alva, advisor, Airport Authority of India (AAI), inaugurated the event.

Lawyer B A Muhammad Haneef presided over the function. The ‘muhurtam’ shot for Beary movie ‘Sandola’ was given by A Sadananda, president, Sridevi Education Trust. An audio CD of the film was released by A Muhammad Ali Abbas. B Nagaraj Shetty, chairman, Coastal Development Authority, presented souvenirs to the artistes of the movie.

‘Mysore Pili Tippu’, a Beary book authored by P Ismail Moodushedde was released by B M Farooq, president, Beary’s Welfare Association, Bangalore, and Harikrishna Punaroor, former president, Kannada Sahithya Parishat. ‘Beary Gana Sudha, an orchestra and cultural programmes were also held.
