Mangaluru, Nov 6: “Deepavali is a symbol of knowledge, growth, unity, sacrifice, education and courage. Light which drives away darkness from houses brings joy. May Deepavali celebrations bring positive changes in us,” said founder president of G R Education Trust, Karavali Group of Colleges, S Ganesh Rao. He was speaking after inaugurating Deepavali celebrations at Karavali College premises, near Kottara Chowki.

He conveyed his best wishes to the students that they may receive excellent education, get high positions in society and become creative professionals in their respective fields of education.

The college campus looked stunning with attractive Rangoli, flower arrangements and lights. The students were treated to sweets and snacks. Bharathnatyam, Janapada dance, Kolata, Rajastani dance, Guajarati dance, Kashmir dance and Bengali dances were a feast to the eyes.

Karavali Group of College’s director Lata G Rao, Venkatarao and principals of Karavali Group of Colleges were present. Safa Firdose compered the programme. Anju Varghese welcomed. Nagma Khan rendered the vote of thanks.
