Udupi: Mattar Rathnaker Hegde appointed election in-charge for Shivamogga by-polls

Udupi, Oct 20: BJP district chief secretary Kuthyaru Navin Shetty in a press release stated that BJP district president Mattar Rathnaker Hegde has been appointed election in charge for Byndoor Vidhan Sabha constituency with regard to Shivamogga Loksabha by elections.

Byndoor MLA B M Sukumar Shetty will be the leader of elections in Byndoor. Byndoor Mandala president Sadananda Uppinakudru will be the co-leader. District chief secretary Kuthyaru Navin Shetty will be additional election officer.

The following seven leaders are appointed in charge for zilla panchayat Shakti Kundras. Shirur – Kaup MLA Lalaji R Mendon; Byndoor – Karkal MLA and Vidhan sabha opposition chief whip V Sunil Kumar; Kambadkone – Vidhan Parishat opposition leader Kota Srinivas Poojary; Trasi – Udupi MLA K Raghupathi Bhat; Siddapur – Kundapur MLA Haladi Srinivas Shetty; Kavradi – former MP K Jayaprakash Hegde; Vandse – Mangaluru division in charge K Udayakumar Shetty. Besides them a district office bearer from the district and respective zilla panchayat members are appointed as in charge.
