Bengaluru: Inhuman behaviour of passersby, pedestrian hit by bus left to suffer in pain on road

Bengaluru, Oct 7: Though numerous articles are written in newspapers and advertisements are done, to create awareness among the public with respect to helping the accident victims, it seems the people are not bothered to help another human being who is writhing in pain and asking for help.

In a similar inhuman behaviour, a pedestrian who was hit by a bus at Mahimapura gate at Nelamangala on the outskirts of the city was left unattended though he pleaded for help with folded hands with the passersby and vehicle owners for more than 45 minutes.

A KSRTC bus had hit the pedestrian and the driver of the KSRTC bus also escaped from the sport without taking any step to take the victim to the hospital. The staff of the toll gate near the site of the accident also looked the other ways. After 45 minutes, some driver of a vehicle got the injured person admitted to the hospital.

A case in this regard is registered in the Nelamangala traffic police station.

People have become inhuman and selfish. One person got injured and begging for help and passerbyers are busy in making video of him. Its shame on every one of us. Its shame that none cared to call any ambulance. Govt and NGOs should take note of this and there should be ambulance facility on highways. Police patrol should be there 24 hours like in gulf countries. Our politicians are busy in foreign tour while public is suffering. None is caring about them.

Humanity has vanished but smartphone fotos are on heavy rise. One side people fear the police attack later with accidents happen or they have no time!or may be fear they have to pay the fees in hospitals and taxis etc. for a unknown person. When it happens to self ,then only people realize.Sad.Thank God at last one angel appeared to help.May God bles him.and his family.Hope he is not seriously injured .wish him speedy recovery.
